Before you ask.
Do I need an account to use FoundaTrix Studio?
No. Modelling, analysis, concrete and anchor rod design for spread, combined, strapped and mat foundations, and project files on your own computer, need no account and work offline. You sign in only for the cloud and the premium capabilities.
Is the free version a trial?
No. The free capabilities are not time-limited: nothing counts down and there is nothing to cancel. Only the premium capabilities have a promotional period.
What happens when the 30 days end?
Nothing is charged, and you are not asked for payment details at any point. The premium capabilities close, everything free keeps working exactly as before, and your cloud jobs and designs stay in your account.
Why is a wizard's model saved to the cloud and not to a file?
A model that holds premium content, such as a wizard's questionnaire or the substation structures and equipment types you define, is saved to the cloud only. A local file would keep the foundation but silently leave out the answers that produced it. A model without premium content saves to a file on your computer as always.
Will Pro cost money?
Pro is the plan that keeps the premium capabilities open without a time limit. Its pricing has not been announced yet and will be published on this page. If you would like it for your firm, tell us.
What do you collect about me?
Nothing from your own computer: no telemetry, analytics or advertising, and your local projects are never sent to us. When you sign in, the service keeps your account and what you save to the cloud. The privacy policy says exactly what, and for how long.
